How my journey began
From a professional standpoint, I have always been drawn to helping people. As my love for biology and psychology grew in college, I came across a career that could allow me to dedicate my life’s work to each individual I came across. I was committed to becoming an occupational therapist- a profession whose motto is "Living life to its fullest.” This is the embodiment of my practice.
My journey through parenthood thus far has guided me in blending my dream career of providing parents, especially mothers, with informed and evidence-based care in addition to nurturing their little ones on a developmental path that allows them to thrive. As a first time mother, I immediately recognized the many gaps in resources and continuums of care pertaining to maternal health. I knew that I wanted to bridge those gaps, even if it was just a little bit with each client I saw. It is safe to say that I am very passionate about my specialty and am so lucky to be part of so many beautiful journeys!
